HOW I SERVE UP HOSPITALITY
Speaking
I started Welcome Heart to share God’s invitation to know Him deeper and follow Him better, and to inspire believers to pass on His invitation through simple hospitality. The more we look like Jesus, the better others can find Him when we open our doors and add another chair to the table. Recipes included!
Blog
Hospitality can be challenging (read: work!) so I created some resources to make it simpler for you. When we do simple hospitality and gain confidence with practice, we can focus on the guest. God said, "Be hospitable without grumbling." I grumble less, the simpler it is!

Sue was our women’s retreat speaker for our “Road Trip with God” in San Diego. We had such a wonderful time with her. One of the ladies emailed this to me, “My biggest takeaway was this question, ‘Do you trust the Map Maker?’ I was so humbled by this question. My perspective is just WOW!! Looking forward to being a better light for Him in the coming days.” Sue truly challenged us to seek God’s plan for our life trip. We will be sharing thoughts and encouragement together for a long time.

Sue’s sessions at our Encounter Weekend could not have been more on target! Our mission for the weekend was “Encountering God & Encountering Community” and Sue’s words served as a call to arms for our community of women to utilize hospitality in lifestyle evangelism. Her talks were witty and conversational, like chatting with a dear (and very funny) friend. So many of the ladies attending commented that her sessions were “compelling” and “relevant”, “encouraging and uplifting”…that they really needed a reminder that perfection is not required to share the love of Jesus.
We have stories coming in regularly of women engaging their neighbors in response to hearing Sue at the event. This includes a baking team that has come together to make over 1000 cinnamon rolls from scratch to distribute to local high school students so they know Jesus loves them! Our women are ready to be an army not an audience!
