An Encouraging Word, Pt. II

July 26, 2016

Another word (or two) on giving an encouraging word.

Bonnie called last week with a GENIUS idea. She’s starting an “Article Club.”

Her friends have trouble with the “Book Club” idea:

1) picking a book

2) reading the book

3) finding a free night

Too much Bachelorette maybe?? She sent out an article and they will chew it over tonight along with some good food.

I had some advice for her. I get that advice-thing from my mom. Bonnie took it well. Bless her.

Who did you bless with an encouraging word since Monday? Just checking. Some have the gift of critiquing. We need that gift. But we all need encouragement.

Here’s your free printable for your fridge–a good reminder for the whole family:

LOVE this quote from Mark Twain. It’s so true, isn’t it. Encouragement is the theme for today–it keeps popping up all over the place. What a needed gift we give with encouraging words.

Hi Sue! Awesome blog–and lots of encouraging words to be going on with. We are living in critical times when we all need to hear encouraging words to lift heart and spirit from the mire of worldly woes. God is so good to meet us there through the words of one another.
    Joy!
